Preventative dentistry is at the core of what we believe. We are here to help you maintain your beautiful smile, and to do this, we provide a comprehensive "first visit" exam. This includes a full mouth series of digital x-rays, intraoral photographs, an oral cancer screening, a periodontal examination, a detailed doctor exam, and a cleaning when no periodontal disease is present. At regular intervals, you will receive thorough cleanings and exams, and any necessary digital x-rays. We are also highly trained in pediatric dental care, and your child will receive the same comprehensive cleanings and exams. We encourage you to bring your infants (yes, infants!) into the office for a cleaning as well, for children should be seen by the dentist between 6-12 months of age for their first visit. Folks of all ages are welcome to join our dental family and be treated with kindness, respect, compassion, and elite dental care.

Crowns & Bridges
Teeth that are fractured, decayed, or in overall poor condition can not only be harmful to your health, but can also affect your comfort and self- confidence. Crowns are tooth shaped, porcelain caps that cover a tooth and have the appearance of a natural tooth. Crowns are needed for several reasons, including a tooth that has had a root canal, is chipped or broken, has a large filling that needs to be replaced, or cosmetic reasons. If a tooth is missing, crowns can be anchored onto the teeth adjacent to the space and hold a crown in between them. This is called a bridge. We work closely with our labs to create beautiful, comfortable crowns that mimic the original shape, shade, and bite of your natural tooth. You won't even know it's a crown!
Tooth Colored Fillings
It's more than "drilling and filling." At Dental Wellness, it is a skillful, engineered, artful process where your teeth look and feel their best. Dental fillings are done if there is a cavity in a tooth, a tooth is chipped or broken, there is space between two teeth, teeth are worn, or for cosmetic reasons. Tooth colored fillings have replaced the use of silver, metal fillings and are a superior material. They adhere to the teeth through a bonding mechanism, which means that a minimal amount of tooth structure needs to be removed to place this type of filling. The fillings match the shade and shape of your natural tooth, and we promise you will be comfortable through the entire procedure.
Teeth Whitening
Everyone wants a whiter smile. Opalescence technology has enabled people to brighten their smile up to twelve shades in about an hour. We have several options to cater to your goals and lifestyle, including an office treatment, custom take home trays, and pre-filled take home trays. With our in office treatment, you leave with whiter teeth immediately, and maintain that beautiful shade at your convenience with your own take home kit. When whitening at home, you can do it on your own time when watching TV or reading! There is virtually no sensitivity due to the patented formula, and the results are dazzling.
Dental Implants
Sometimes folks have spaces in their mouth, and implants are used to replace these missing teeth. They are placed by a specialist and after a period of healing, a crown is either cemented or screwed onto the implant. The implant and crown are permanent and do not get removed. The crown that is placed on the implant will match the shade and shape of the surrounding teeth and looks completely natural. Dental implants can help stabilize your bone and remaining teeth, while also enhancing your smile.
Dentures
Dentures are a way to replace missing teeth, and with modern technology, they don't have to come in and out of your mouth! Although conventional, removable dentures are still an option, we also offer dentures that can be fixed onto implants. They not only offer superb aesthetics, but they also offer functionality and the ability to chew and taste food like your original, natural teeth.

How Dentures Work
Depending on the condition, the dentist may recommend partial or full dentures to restore a patient's smile.

Full Dentures: After all remaining teeth have been removed and your gums have healed properly, the dentist will place the removable dentures. The dentures may feel awkward for the first few weeks; however, they should become comfortable and feel natural in your mouth.

Partial Dentures: Unlike full dentures, partial dentures only replace a few missing teeth while keeping your healthy natural teeth in place.
Caring for Your Dentures
Rinsing and brushing your dentures will keep them clean and free of bacteria. You can keep them from warping by placing them in a proper container while not in use. Overall, proper oral hygiene will keep your new smile bright and help maintain your oral health.
Orthodontics
Orthodontics are an excellent and minimally invasive way to straighten your teeth. Not only do they enhance your smile, but they also help to restore functionality to your teeth, jaw, and bite. Here at Dental Wellness, we offer clear braces, or Invisalign. Invisalign is a series of clear "retainers" that are worn for 1-2 weeks at a time, straightening your teeth with each new retainer. Since they are removable, it makes it easy to brush and floss your teeth. These aligners are nearly invisible, and utilize the latest technology to comfortably realign your teeth. Periodontal Care
Your mouth can affect the overall health of the rest of your body. It is important that you not only practice good oral hygiene at home, but also visit our dental hygienists for your regularly scheduled cleanings. Through our digital x-rays, periodontal charting, and thorough exams (including an oral cancer screening at each visit), we will identify any potential issues and will address them immediately in order to keep you healthy. If there are any signs of periodontal disease or gingivitis, we may have to perform a deep cleaning, or scaling and root planing. This non surgical treatment will eliminate harmful bacteria and stop the progression of this disease. Our skilled hygienists will ensure your comfort throughout this procedure, while also educating you on how to maintain a healthy mouth and beautiful smile.
Oral Surgery
At some point, you may have a tooth in your mouth that is "ready to retire." After hundreds of thousands of meals, sometimes teeth break, develop large cavities, or become loose. If this happens, we are happy to perform simple extractions, where we can remove the tooth, giving you relief and comfort. Once that tooth is removed, we can discuss your options on how to replace that tooth so that you can easily chew and look and feel your best!
Veneers
Your smile is the gateway to the world. It can give you the confidence you need to go on that job interview, set up a date, or finally take those family portraits. To enhance your smile, we offer veneers. Veneers are tooth colored porcelain covers that are bonded to the front surface of teeth. They are a minimally invasive, quick way to dramatically alter the color, position, and shape of your teeth, giving you that smile you've dreamed about.
Night Guards
For those of you who grind and/or clench your teeth at night, we can help! Our office is happy to provide you with a custom made night guard. These hard, plastic, retainer-like appliances will help to relax the muscles in your face that cause you to clench and alleviate tension from your Temporomandibular joint. Clenching, or bruxing, can wear down your teeth, causing them to appear short and flat. It can also lead to gum loss, bone shrinkage, pain and tenderness, airway problems and generalized sensitivity.
